Tonight we had a workshop for potential pilots and relatives in the IVo project. They got a presentation of the plans for IVo and our Sense Smart Region platform, but also look into our furnished room with sensors to see how it looks when installing sensors in an apartment. Now, the participants get some time to consider before deciding whether to become a pilot. The goal is 10 pilots in different types of accommodation.
Sense Smart Region provides its platform, and data from the sensors are collected in the platform. We measure open / closed doors, TVs and coffee makers on / off, water flushing, movements in the apartment and if any medication has been removed from its package. The system learns the normal pattern in each apartment, and sends a message to a relative or staff in case of strange deviations from the pattern.
