Leif participated in Smart City World Expo in Barcelona, to showcase our project and link contacts. We were part of the Nordic Pavilion.
Urban Lundmark, Jan Hedström and Ann-Christine Schmidt were also there (but didn’t represent our project).
Leif led a round table discussion around the problem ”How to get widely spread secure horizontal platforms for IoT and digital services instead of vertical solutions”. The discussion showed that this problem exists everywhere. Some people in Oulu were interested in discussing further.
The speed dating also gave interesting contacts. One concrete example was LoRa sensor for measuring the degree of filling in bins, which might fit Skellefteå municipality’s ideas.
